We know that Apple has launched iBooks Application for students. With iBooks student can do a lot of interactive things on their ipad such as read textbook, make notes, make flashcards , learn words , This iBooks app is available on iTune & you can download textbook and other books from ibookstore with iBooks app. Apple has partnered with McGraw hill and it is targeting high school student.
Now google is taking apple on by sending 27000 chrome book to US students in approx 41 
schools. Cloud based Chromebook is very light and takes very less energy than laptop. Google Chromebook has to compete with other notebook manufacturers as well. Google thinks this move will at least increase awareness about device in Students.
